Parkour and Adventure

  It was still ±04.00 AM in the morning, but Yohanes and I already stood by, waiting around Maspion Square for our appointment with Rijalul . It wasn't without reason that the three of us were willing to wake up as early as this. On that day, Saturday, June 24 th 2023, the three of us planned to go to Blitar together to attend the 12 th East Java Parkour Regional Jamming . I rode my motorbike with Yohanes, while Rijalul used his own one.

It was quite hot in Pacet town that noon. I stopped by for a while at An-Nur Mosque to relax and wash my face after ±1.5 hour motorbike trip from Surabaya. Soon after that, I made an appointment with Ijoe , one of my friends from Parkour Surabaya, at his grandmother's house which is located close to the mosque.

On Saturday, December 5 th 2020, finally East Java Parkour held BJB ( Bukan Jamming Biasa [not just ordinary jamming]). It was the third one after last time held in 2017 in Blitar. BJB is arguably an informal event from East Java Parkour which focuses more on recreation than parkour training itself (as opposed to regional jamming). The purpose of this event is solely just to increase solidarity and kinship among fellow practitioners.

After near three years of not visiting, finally I could set my foot in Bondowoso regency  for the second time. This wasn't obviously just an ordinary visit, because on this occasion, Parkour Bondowoso  hosted the 2019 East Java Parkour   Regional Jamming .

On Saturday afternoon, November 18 th 2017, most of East Java Parkour crews gathered at Serang Beach . The tiredness after ±1.5 hours motorcycle trip from Blitar  city was paid off with a beautiful beach scenery, plus we could see the sunset directly from here later. Of course we didn’t just come here for no intention, because this was an informal event from East Java Parkour called “Bukan Jamming Biasa” (BJB) , which means ‘not just ordinary jamming’. BJB is practically a kind of camping event, gatherings, and playing together among parkour practitioners in East Java. The purpose of this event is just solely to strengthen our friendship more.
