Parkour and Adventure

On Saturday, December 5 th 2020, finally East Java Parkour held BJB ( Bukan Jamming Biasa [not just ordinary jamming]). It was the third one after last time held in 2017 in Blitar. BJB is arguably an informal event from East Java Parkour which focuses more on recreation than parkour training itself (as opposed to regional jamming). The purpose of this event is solely just to increase solidarity and kinship among fellow practitioners.

Pada h ari Sabtu, 5 Desember 2020, Parkour Jawa Timur akhirnya kembali menyelenggarakan BJB (Bukan Jamming Biasa) setelah terakhir terlaksana pada tahun 2017 lalu di Blitar. BJB ini bisa dibilang program acara informal dari Parkour Jawa Timur yang lebih berfokus ke rekreasi ketimbang latihan parkournya (kebalikan dari jamming regional). Tujuan acara ini semata-mata hanya untuk meningkatkan keakraban dan kekeluargaan di antara sesama praktisi.

It’s been  more than  4 months since I was off from all social media. I obviously have missed a lot of update news from the others since my last active around the end of July. Thankfully now I can use it again now as usual. If you wonder what happened to me during this hiatus, I’ll tell you soon everything from the beginning till the end through this post.

Sudah 4 bulan lebih sejak saya vakum dari semua sosial media. Tentunya telah banyak ketinggalan berita dari teman-teman yang lain sejak terakhir aktif ±akhir Juli lalu. Bersyukur sekarang sudah bisa bersosmed seperti sediakala lagi. Bila ada yang bertanya-tanya apa yang terjadi selama ini, akan segera saya ceritakan semuanya dari awal hingga akhir.

I supposed to be in Germany on this day with Widio Putra a.k.a. Yos , attending Gravity Sucks parkour event in Hamburg. And for the next ± 30 days, we should have been there exploring the country, (maybe) watching live Euro 2020 in the football stadium, and also training parkour together with fellow participants from various countries. BUT…this covid-19 pandemic ruins everything. The committees cancelled the event, and that means, our preparations for the past two years have ended in vain.

Because there're some errands to do on December 22 nd , I chose December 14 th  - 15 th from the polling held by Parkour Malaysia about the date of End Year Jam . Unfortunately the result wasn't as I expected, majority of the voters (65%) chose 20 th  - 21 st December. At first I thought still  could  attend the whole event, but shortly after, the event date was changed to December 21 st  - 22 nd .  I still thought positively up to  this point , coz probably I still  could  participate just on the first day.

Karena ada suatu keperluan di tanggal 22 Desember, maka saat polling pemilihan tanggal acara  End Year Jam , di antara dua opsi yang diberikan saya memilih tanggal 14-15 Desember. Namun hasil polling berkata lain, mayoritas pemilih (65%) menginginkan acara diselenggarakan tanggal 20-21 Desember. Awalnya saya berpikir masih bisa ikut acara secara penuh, namun tidak lama kemudian acara  diumumkan  berubah  tanggalnya  menjadi 21-22 Desember. Sampai di sini saya masih berpikir positif, karena saya pikir masih bisa ikut di  hari pertama saja.
